Is colon hydrotherapy good for you?
Proponents of colon cleansing believe that toxins from your gastrointestinal tract can cause a variety of health problems, such as arthritis and high blood pressure. They believe that colon cleansing improves health by removing toxins, boosting your energy and enhancing your immune system.
Does colonic hydrotherapy hurt?
Most people describe their colon hydrotherapy session as being both refreshing and relaxing. The instillation of warm, purified water is very gentle (comparable to a "trickle" from your faucet).
How long does colon hydrotherapy take?
About 45 minutes. The water circulates through your colon, and waste products are passed out of your body through the tube. It usually takes about 45 minutes, during which time about 60 litres of water are passed through your colon. Herbal infusions are sometimes added to the water.
